The DSA theory test is in two parts. The first is a computerized touch screen test in which you have to select the correct answer from a number of choices. The second part is called the hazard perception test. Part one - multiple-choice questions -

Before the test starts you'll be given instructions on how the test works.

You will be asked randomly generated set of questions from DSA official theory test question bank. Questions with options will be shown on the touch screen computer and you have to select the correct answer to the question by touching the screen. Some questions may require more than one answer.

This part of the theory test requires you to view 14 hazard video clips on the computer screen of approximately one minute each. You are required to watch these clips as if you were the driver.
